(1/5) The worst shop we encountered in the area. Total SCAMMERS. Attempt to seel fake silver as real. When we called them on not having the silver stamp they tried to make the excuse that the stamp was forgotten and they would just put one on. Then abruptly got angry and said that since we dont trust them we dont need the item and snatched it out of our hands. Only shop here is you want to pay above market silver prices for fake costume jewelry.

(5/5) I bought an Aztec death mask 12 inches tall covered with mother-of-pearl using cash. Knowing the prices of the items you want in the U.S. can make negotiations easier, and it’s better to pay in cash to avoid potential fluctuations in currency conversion rates on your credit card.

(1/5) This is a buyer beware as I should have been more aware. Their jewelry is quite nice. My wife and I were looking around after dinner and saw a nice silver and opal piece she liked. After looking at it closely, I wasn't interested in the price as displayed so kept looking around for possibly something else. The salesperson stayed after us and reduced the price by $50 US, but I still wasn't buying. As we were about to leave the store, she indicated a price all inclusive in $US that I would do. The problem was, I didn't do the conversion math when her associate ran the credit card for Pesos. When I checked my card later I paid $75US more than negotiated. If we had the time I would have gone back and returned the merchandise and asked for a refund, though not sure how that would have worked. Dishonest business like this is a real bummer. I would find somewhere else to shop. Bunny Shapiro does bead jewelry and is well worth the stop.

(1/5) Received my credit card bill today, and it showed an amount for many times the price of the item I bought. We discussed conversion rates, and I was not mistaken about the price in USD. I’m going to dispute the charge, but I have no receipt. Pay very close attention to the price quoted, and keep your receipts! The beach vendors have more integrity!!!

(1/5) We were ripped off for 1000$ for a painting from Coral Azul. It was purchased on 3/23/2023. Was supposed to arrive via shipping 3weeks from purchase date it never arrived. it's been 2 months. Coral Azul can not be contacted. Finally we contacted the owner we were offered painting not the same as one purchased. We're never were offered a refund Money. Sharks game players. We're done in PV for a long while

(2/5) I was told that I would get $18 pesos for $1.00 US dollar. When got my credit card statement. I was over charged by $114.95. The number on the business card doe not work and I have yet to receive a response to my email. I going to dispute the charge with my credit card.

(5/5) Staff was awesome. We got some beautiful items and had fun dealing with Luis (I think that was his name).

(4/5) Have shopped here on a number of trips to Puerto Vallarta. They have standard fare as well as some special pieces, which you should check out. Ask about the back room, which is where many of their best stuff is displayed.

(5/5) Helpful and friendly staff! Love my new rings. They will size it at no additional cost.

(5/5) Great Staff. Very helpful and no pressure. Bought a great pair of earrings for my BFF

(5/5) Amazing local jewelry shop. Very impressive pieces. Staff is super helpful. Pricing seems a bit high.
