(5/5) This store is F'n amazing. The jewelry is unique and made by hand, beautiful gems and silver. The owner Veronica very very sweet and helpful, there is no pressure when you're inside there and she let me browse for over an hour when I was clearly there after closing time, just to make sure I got my girlfriend the right ring. She even adjusted the price for me since the exchange rate changed recently which was very honest and kind of her. Great vibes and souls in this place. I can't recommend this store enough. I wish I could've bought more rings and that is my only regret. Everything is extremely rad and unique.

(5/5) Gorgeous gorgeous shop. My boyfriend and I were looking for unique jewelry to bring home and this blew us away. You can feel the positive energy when you walk in. Lots of handmade, carefully crafted pieces that you can tell were made with care. The owner was so kind and pleasant to talk to as well, it was lovely to hear her story. We were so surprised this was on 5th, it’s not touristy at all, and the only shop we saw that was actually genuine and the employees didn’t harass us to buy anything. We left very happy with some beautiful earrings! Thank you!

(1/5) STAY AWAY!!!! Veronica the owner sells fake silver and passes it off as .925. I purchased a ring from her for $100 dollars and within the week the stone fell out. I reached out to her and she blamed ME for adjusting it wrong. Say whaaaaaat? Hilarious. I have a lot of rings and none of them are in danger of the stone falling out. A few weeks after that the “silver” started changing to a brownish color. When I went into the store to tell her she RUDLY scolded me and told me to come back later because she was closed. She’s like jekyll and hyde, super sweet when you’re going to buy but at heart she’s incredibly rude and petty. After she kicked me out of her store I contacted my credit card company and sent them pictures of the fraudulent transaction. They immediately returned my money. Veronica has a very poor reputation in the artisan community in PDC for good reason. Do yourself a favor and save yourself from the headache I went through.

(5/5) She makes the best incense in PdC! And she fixed my copper bracelet so I like it even more than before it was damaged. They don't open until 4pm so plan for a late afternoon/early evening visit. Her jewelry is exquisite and reasonably priced.

(5/5) I was looking for a unique jewelry store in Playa del Carmen and found Yulunga and the online reviews. We made a point to come here and we were not disappointed. Such a lovely store and a lovely owner, Veronica! She was so knowledgeable about the stones she uses and shows much pride in what she creates. I bought turquoise and amber pieces and was very happy with my purchases. I recommend a visit to Yulunga - not just for jewelry, but for leather and other hand made crafts as well.

(5/5) It only takes 2 bad reviews for people to turn something away but I had stumbled across this store by accident and I am so glad I did! I felt the energy from across the street. Beautiful store and beautiful owner. I can feel all the love put into it. She wraps, labels, and packages all of the incense labels herself. It is one of the most humble, loving, local shops I have been to. I will never forget my experience here meeting Veronica. A heart centered women with a beautiful soul. Moments I cherish in my heart forever. 💝

I was absolutely enamored with the entire store and struggled to make decisions. The amber selections are endless, along with other precious stones and leather. She is interested in creating for you a personal and individual piece of jewelry.She handcrafted using high quality stones and materials beautiful necklaces and bracelets as gifts. Two years ago she made me a half dozen gifts. Over the last week she made 2 high-end pendant necklaces as special gifts and 5 bracelets as thank you gifts. I also purchased for myself a pair of large Rose Quartz earrings worked in silver.My niece had her make a silver and labradorite ring and two necklaces.they turned out beautiful. She was so pleased. She said she’s never had anybody make such personal pieces.

The pieces they make are magical and if is truly amazing to see how dedicated they're to the shop and to the pieces they make. They are also willing to help create and personalize any piece.I wish I had a shop like Yulunga back home.. but I will keep the pieces I bought close to me and will always remember where they came from.

The absolute highlight of my trip was the gift, honor and pleasure of wondering onto a street, finding Yulunga, and meeting this mystic name Veronica Soltero. In a place of mass production and consumerism exist this wonderful spiritual space. I felt the birthing of sisterhood with this beautiful soulful woman. It gave me such joy & balance to witness Afrikan, Mayan and Indigenous representation.The artistry & craftsmanship of the pieces can only satisfy should you invite that appreciation and relationship. As the Ancestors & universe would have it, i acquired a silver Persian chain maille braclet, which glides across my wrist often times through the day; and I'm reminded of a special bond in Mexico. gracias mi hermana del alma...paula
