(5/5) The best jewelry shop in Cancun, Playa Caracol. The shop is a little hard to find and don't believe other sellers, the shop is open and has been in business for 40 years. Sebastian owns 2 shops, next to each other. The shops are located inside Plaza Caracol. Find the big supermarket, right behind it. You will find an alley and you need to enter the small mall next to the Starbucks coffe store. Sebastian Plata Fina is located on the first level, right in the center. They open around 11am, but there is no sign outside the shop. You will see Sebastian stickers in the store's windows when it is open. Honest seller, every item has a price tag. It was worth looking for the store ans meeting the jeweler. Happy shopping!

(5/5) Searched the web reviews to find the best silver shop in Cancun and came across Sebastian Plata Fina. He and his wife are friendly, knowledgeable and not pushy at all. He has thousands of silver pieces and some amazing wooden crafts that are absolutely unique. Felt very comfortable with the unique jewelry purchases that we made. Will always give my business to them when in Cancun.

(5/5) Wow! The only honest jeweler in Cancun. This is the only shop I would buy jewelry in Cancun or Playa del Carmen area. We tried jewelry shops throughout Cancun markets, shopping malls and hotels and all were lying scammers who told crazy stories about the stones. Finally found this shop in the old mall from a Reddit thread. These guys were the real deal. Didn't lie and told the truth about the jewelry. Had fair pricing on the items so no need to haggle as it was so refreshing to work with them. We bought man-made color changing stone from yellow green to pink (other stores claimed this as Zulanite/Sultanite/Mayan tourmaline), this is the only store that was honest about the stone being man-made but 100% sure the other stones were identical man-made. Also bought some earrings. Wish we found this shop earlier and bought more here.

(5/5) Wonderful selection of beautiful Mexican silver jewelry. No pressure sales from the incredibly knowledgeable owners. I bought a gorgeous chain, pendant and earrings. It’s in a mall called Plaza Caracol. There are two Sebastian stores in there.We saw one that was closed and almost left, but then saw there was another one across the hall. They should put a sign on the door of the closed one. We would definitely recommend Sebastian to anyone looking for high-quality sterling silver jewelry.

(5/5) My wife found a beautiful red coral and silver necklace, earrings, and bracelet. This is authentic Mexican made and .950 silver setting. Quality was excellent. We stayed at the Ritz Carlton and looked at a similar set at their Jewelry store for 5 times the amount we paid at Sebastians. Gustavo, the owner, helped us. Most knowledgeable. It is a family owned store. He even poured me a glass of fantastic tequila while helping my wife select a set. They are located in the Plaza Caracol which has been almost closed because of the Covid lockdown. Hope the remaining stores can make it. Very nice people there.
