(5/5) I purchased a set of earrings and a ring today at Guapinol. Every item is exquisite! The quality, design, and workmanship are second to none! I spent some time chatting with a lovely lady who was attending me. I regret not getting her name. She was so helpful and pleasant. Everyone visiting Oaxaca must go to this Tienda!

(5/5) Wonderful shop with exquisite original designs in amber, silver and other gemstones. I looked at many jewelry shops in Oaxaca but this was my favorite. Visited several times before finally deciding, yet the shopkeepers were always friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

(1/5) Not worth the time unless you like chunky jewelry you'd find from Arizona or New Mexico. The saleswoman was unfriendly and hid her tablet from me as if I was looking to steal something. I wouldn't recommend this shop.

I brought this stunning amber necklace that I was going to gift to a friend, but I ended up keeping it for myself, and going back for a second piece for my friend lol. Ana the owner is so sweet, we ended up taking for about an hour and she really took her time explaining everyone. Her pieces are so unique, highly recommend!

(5/5) Got the most amazing moonstone ring. All of the jewelery is made with 950 silver. Guapinol has a lot of variety in stones. My wife got a crazy fire opal. A must go in Oaxaca City. Lovely amber and turquoise pieces too!

(5/5) This store has by far the best amber and silver jewelry in Oaxaca. I can never resist and always buy something beautiful every time I visit the city. These are pieces I wear all the time at home in Canada. Few of my pieces of jewelry get as much use as these.
